NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
Notice is hereby given that the Tentative Assessment Roll for 2024 has been completed: That a copy thereof has been left with the Covert Town Clerk where it may be seen and examined by any person interested there in until May 28th.
Meetings are to hear and examine all written complaints in relation to such assessments. Members of the professional Town of Covert assessment staff can be contacted between the hours of 8:00am – 12:00pm at the Covert Municipal Building May 9th, 16th, and 23rd or by appointment.

On May 28, 2024 the Covert Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Covert Municipal Building at 8469 S Main St, Interlaken NY between the hours of 4pm and 8pm to hear and determine all verified written complaints presented.

APPOINTMENTS BY ELECTED OFFICIALS
Highway Superintendent MacCheyne appoints Glenn Boyes as Deputy Highway Superintendent for 2024.
Town Clerk appoints Brian Quan as Deputy Town Clerk, Registrar of Vital Statistics, and Tax Collector. Wage shall be $22.22 per hour.
Town Justice Eileen Schmidt appoints Lucille Smith as Clerk to the Town Justice. Wage shall be $22.22 per hour.
